Social Justice, Climate Change, and Directing a Nonprofit

Meet Dory Trimble, the Executive Director of the Honnold Foundation, a nonprofit focused on promoting solar energy to create a more equitable world. Dory will discuss how to hustle your way into a job you really love and what it's like to run a nonprofit. Later on in the conversation, she'll do a deep dive into her passion: the intersection of social justice and climate change.

About Dory:
Dory Trimble is the Executive Director of the Honnold Foundation. She has worked as a service designer and community organizer since 2011, solving complex problems and building systems from the ground up for orthopedic surgeons in Utah, undocumented youth in the Dominican Republic, and migrant farmworkers in rural Appalachia. A member of the Honnold Foundation team for the past two and a half years, she’s passionate about solar energy access as a tool for promoting social change.
